Pot Potted Pottery
When Aunt Mary moved to Bolinas in the late 70s to quicken her divorce, she took up three things to help her transition into impending singlehood: a craft pottery class at the Marin community college; a new appreciation for growing good grass in the backyard; and a lively affair with the young pottery professor himself… who, by name and nature, also provided her the pot plants for planting in her pots. (Not to mention how hot he got her kiln cooking.)
Their passion for pot, pottery, and each other spilled into their work and inspired the bold roughshod homemaker creations that sparked the American Craftsmen pottery revolution who’s affects are still felt decades later… and well represented today by PaperClip Pottery’s Wake ‘n’ Bake set of Coffee Mug and Pipe, perfect for the get up ‘n’ go -getters who need more than just a hit of java to make their day much more interesting and passionate.
