Classy AF…
The term “Classy AF” gets lightly thrown around a lot these days: “That brunch was classy AF”, or “your face is classy AF”, or even “Aren’t you classy AF in that satin moo-moo”. Like “fancy” ketchup in packets, it begins to lose all meaning.
But if we were to use it with it’s original understanding, we would do so with the sophisticated sense of when first used by Queen Victoria to describe the newly built London Underground in 1863 as “this miracle of modern engineering to elevate the empire is quite classy AF” –checks notes- …or something to that effect.
