Taste The Millennia & Get High On Time…
5460 years ago. North Eastern Europe. A brisk Autumn’s day. A Tuesday. Summer was fading, but not all gone. The leaves were begining to turn tone and fall to the forest floor. The winds were blowing the northern glacial cold through the forested valley, cueing one of the last families of local woolly mammoths to move to better grazing grounds.
While stepping around a densely wooded swamp along the trek, the eldest female mammoth at the back of the line suddenly slipped when her back legs fell into the sludge filled bog. Reaching out desperately to find a grip, she wrapped her trunk around an ancient oak tree that had long stood by the muddy bog’s shore for eons and watched countless animals fall into the deat-trap water-hole to never resurface.
But the ancient oak which had stood stood strong for ages finally succumbed to time and gave it’s life so the woolly one may live as she trampled the tree into the bog as a replacement sacrifice to fate. Both tree and mammoth were old, but together their strength [...]
