Mining liquid gold…
In 1847, a couple of Licatiut scouts from the native Miwok tribe of what we now call Marin County looked over the inlet of the Great Bay towards the sleepy Spanish port town of San Francisco and one said to the other “I don’t mind these guys living over there, as long as they keep to themselves and don’t bring any more of their friends”. One year later, gold was found at Sutter’s Mill and the California Gold rush was on and The Great Bay would never be the same.
In 1977, in what the Miwok use to call home, now called Novato, a young George Lucas said to his wife “I hope they like it” and released cinematic gold with Star Wars and the world was forever changed.
In 2017 a few world-conscious surfers had taken their passion for cannabis and turned it into a blossoming business by just asking “What would happen if you made a clean, healthy high?”. They mined for the liquid ganja gold of clean, healthy, healing, sustainable cannabis concentrates and have come up with Jetty Extracts: Gold. Health conscious highs for the healing tribes. And while they might not have changed the world yet, they’ve gotten a good start helping heal it.
