Dancing Gummy Bears
The year is 1920. German confectioner Hans Riegel Sr. gains great inspiration by the trained dancing bears of Europe’s markets and street festivals. He rushes back to his lab and creates what is forever known as “The Gummy Bear”. How taking in an innocent bear show in the middle of the day resulted in him wanting to eat smaller more gelatinous versions of them is unclear. Perhaps Herr Riegel also had a penchant for smoking a lot of herb. That is pure hearsay however.
During the heyday of the Weimer Republic one could satiate the sweet tooth for a mere 1 Pfennig per bear pair. An outright steal during any crumbling republic. Flash forward about a hundred years later and it’s the gummy bears who are making people dance.
Flurish has created a tasty variety of fun fancy fruit flavored gummy edibles that come inside a super stylish box. They have also embarked on the mission of creating the best tasting gummy in all the pot pantheon. We cannot think of a more nobler quest. If only Hans Sr. could see of what has become of his beloved bears. We suspect he would approve.
