Case Open, Case Closed…
The story you are about to read is true. Only the names have been changed to protect the intoxicated.
It was Sunday, February 29th. It was unusually warm in Los Angeles. We were working the day-watch out of Bud Burglary Detail. My partner’s Ben Romeo. The boss is Thad Green…Chief of Detectives. My name’s Friday. We were on the way out from the office. Heard there was some trouble acquiring the fresh new flower from Cut & Dry.
It was 4:20 P.M. when we got to the corner of Norwich and Figueroa Street to a local dispensary. We try the chain gate. Closed. But it says these are normal business hours. Curious, we head around back to find all the employees chilling in the backyard. Apparently, they just got in the new shipment of Cut & Dry fine cannabis flower and were so overjoyed with the high quality bud and amazing taste, they decided to close up shop and enjoy the rest of the day in style.
Overcome with the rich aroma, we sat down next to them and sampled in the tastiness of Cut & Dry’s “Work” strain to see if would help motivate us throughout the rest of the day. It sure did. When we got back to the office, we filled not only all of our reports we’d been putting off, but filed a few other officers reports while we were in the flow.
Needless to say, the case was Cut & Dry. Case closed.
